Step 1. Open the Conroe ISD website.

Note: If you have previously opened the CISD ClassLink login page on your web browser then it will open the login page directly. There is no need to search the login page. It happens because the browser stores data in cache memory and also stores cookies.

Does Conroe ISD use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

Apart from the SSO service, ClassLink also offers a Multi-Factor Authentication service to protect your account. It adds an extra authentication along with login credentials. After entering your username and password you will have to authenticate your login through a security code sent to you as per your authentication method.

This way, it helps to keep all student and employee data safe and provides an extra layer of security.

Conroe ISD was previously using the Google Authenticator App to implement SSO and now switched to the Multi-factor authentication by ClassLink to enhance the district security.

How to set up MFA?

If you are logging in to Launchpad for the first time, you will be prompted to set up Multi Factor Authentication. You can use any one of the two choices for MFA.

  1. Mobile method – Set up the Mobile authentication by using the Google Authenticator app.
  2. SMS method – Set up by entering your mobile number.

If you are using the Mobile method then download the app through the below links.

Note: If you already have the Google Authenticator app on your phone, you will need to remove the old SSO. For iPhone users open the app, (1) tap the three dots in the upper right corner, (2) choose Edit. (3) Tap the pencil, (4) tap the trash can to remove the previous SSO from the app on your phone.

Customized dashboard: After SSO login, you will have access to your Dashboard page where you can access a variety of Conroe district applications. You can also personalize your dashboard page by adding favorite, items, creating folders, changing the theme, etc.

Add apps: You can add any app that Conroe ISD offers to students/employees to your dashboard page if it is not available there.

Easy resource access: All your CISD learning resources are available on a single SSO dashboard page that students can access with just a click. It saves a lot of time and allows students to focus on their learning instead of remembering multiple passwords and logging in to multiple applications.

My files: By using My Files, you can save important files and access them anytime anywhere. It provides a secure medium and encrypts all data through 256-bit SSL. Now students can access their files on a real-time basis and also offer a file-sharing facility.

You can recover your account by using the self-service facility if you have already set up the account recovery methods.

Password Recovery Setup:

Once you log in the first time, you will get a prompt to set up your password recovery method. It is necessary to set up a password recovery method if you want to reset your password through the self-service option.

There are two methods you can use.

  1. Phone – Set up this method to receive a security code to reset your password.
  2. Security question – Set up this method to reset your password by answering the security questions.

How to reset the password?

We are assuming that you have already set up your password recovery method. Please follow the below steps.

  • Visit the official CISD website and click the CISD SSO link on the top side.
  • On the login page, click the “Help forgot my password” link.
  • You will see a password reset page on the next screen (as shown below).

  • After the verification, you can create a new password.
